First Letters Start June 1, 2026

Hi, I’m Summer, the mom behind My Brave Little Letters

Hi, I am a mom to a son with special needs, and he is the heart behind everything I create. Through him I have learned how meaningful the smallest moments can be, like receiving something just for you. There have been challenges, but also so much love, growth and joy. I started My Brave Little Letters to share a bit of that feeling with other children, to help them feel seen, included, and special. Every personalized letter comes from my heart, with the hope of bringing a smile to your child's face. I will offer blog posts and message boards for moms like us to share and communicate stories like ours.

Our Story

From One Mom to Many

My Brave Little Letters began in a small corner of our home, born out of a simple desire to help my own child navigate big feelings and sensory needs. I noticed how a gentle word of encouragement could transform their day, turning a moment of overwhelm into one of quiet confidence. I started creating these letters specifically for them—personal, calming, and filled with the kind of reassurance they needed to feel truly seen.

What started as a personal ritual soon grew into something much bigger. I realized that so many other families were looking for the same thing: a low-pressure, high-joy way to support their children's emotional and sensory well-being. Today, our subscription delivers that same gentle, encouraging mail to kids across the country, transforming every mailbox into a source of happiness and calm support.
